Yogayakarta, Indonesia

From Phnom Penh, Cambodia I flew into Jakarta, Indonesia. For the first time since my very first day in SE Asia, I'm headed to a hostel where I won't know a single person. For the past month or so I've been traveling and continuing to meet up with people that I've met while traveling that I haven't had to start completely fresh since day one. So I flew into Jakarta, which is the capital of Indonesia. It took a whopping 2.5 hours to get from the airport to my hostel, which was maybe 10 miles away. There are so many people and so much traffic in Jakarta, I really don't like it. I checked into my hostel around 5pm and immediately booked a train to Yogayakarta at 8am the next morning. I had been up since 4:30am so I didn't really feel like socializing in the hostel. So I showered and attempted to heal my bed bug bites and then climbed into my little cubby of a bed and went to sleep.Note: My cubby of a bed is the coolest hostel bed I've had so far. I had a private curtain, a shelf, two hooks, two outlets, a little light, and a PERSONAL fan. I was in heaven. I would have slept like a rock but all 1 million of my bed bug bites were driving me insane and someone was also snoring really loudly. The next day I went down to the hostel lobby and was trying to figure out how to get to the train station when I overheard two girls talking about the train. I asked them if they were going to Yogayakarta and if they wanted to share a cab. And boom new travel crew. It was Teresa (Germany), Laura (France), and two boys Etienne (Canada), and Gomez (Tunsia).
