Vienna, Austria
After a very fab and very long flight, I finally landed in Vienna. With a 15 hour layover I made my way through customs and took a tram into the city. I went straight to the Spanish Riding School to see the Lipizzaner Horses have their morning exercise. After that I kind of walked around in a half asleep daze and didn't really know where to go. I refueled with a coffee and a beer but ended up only spending about 5 hours in the city. Five hours and $55. :( I went back to the airport to hang out in the business lounge until my flight for the next 8 hours in an effort to stop spending money. The lounge food was horrible so all I ate was beer and cookies. However, the food on the flight was basically fine dining and worth the wait. The flight attendant kept refilling my glass of wine so I ended up drinking probably a whole bottle of rose, which was a key factor in me passing out for the majority of the flight. Landed in Bangkok the next morning with zero jetlag!
It shall also be noted that I am very tired & lazy right now, so this blog post is probably boring. I can't guarantee that I'll ever write when I am not tired or lazy. (sorry mom)
